Gifts for Music Fanatics

Christmas is coming and it’s again time for gift giving. If you know someone who loves music so much or attached to their iPods all the time, here are some gifts you should consider giving them. These gifts are modestly cheap and work perfectly with iPods.
- iTunes Gift Cards – give them the power to choose their own gift with this gift card. Available in four denominations ($15, $25, $30 $50), these gift cards can be used to purchase music in iTunes. Music in iTunes are regularly priced near to a dollar per song so even a $15 gift card can let the users purchase a good amount of songs. These gift cards can also be used to purchase TV episodes available in iTunes.
- iPhone Screen Cleaner – this is actually applicable to all touch screen phones or even the LCD in your laptop. Although for laptops you need to have something bigger to give it better coverage. This screen cleaner is a composed of a ready to use solution spray and a cloth design for cleaning very sensitive screens. Just wipe it off the screen and you’ll have an iPhone that’s clean and looks good as new. The spray is good for a few hundred applications so this product could stay in the shelf for months.
- Cassette Adapter for Cars – if you think the MTV show “Pimp my Ride” makes it easy to change things in the car, think again. Major upgrades for any part of the car cost hundreds of dollars. That is why there are still some who prefer to stick with their cassette stereo in their car. But thank God for adapters since now we can play our favorite music from the iPod using these adapters. If you’re short on power, purchase a charge that can be attached to the car power supply. Great combination of technology for the road warrior.
- FM Transmitter – this is even a smarter alternative for the cassette adapter. The FM transmitter for iPods is usually sold so that you can transmit sounds up to 10-20 meters from its source. Just plug in the device to your iPod, select an unused bandwidth in the FM station and tune in to this device using your car stereo without the need of wires. Just make sure your iPod has a full battery as the transmitter will use the battery of your iPod as the source of power.
- Headphones – Of course! The standard iPod headphone sounds good but you can even make it better with these headphones. If you’re giving them a gift of better sound, don’t just purchase another headphone issued by Apple. It’s like purchasing a replacement instead of an option. Go for brands dedicated to sound quality such as Shure as these companies have their own line of headphones for your iPod or even other Mp3 players.
These are very nice tech gifts and it wouldn’t cost you so much as $50. Help them upgrade their iPods this Christmas without having to spend too much on gifts.
